Albergo Hotel
Beirut, Achrafieh, Ashrafieh, Abdel Wahab El Inglizi Street

The Albergo Hotel is a “Magnificent Residence” located in the heart of old Beirut in the district of Achrafieh. Since its opening in 1998, the Albergo Hotel has been a member of the renowned global organization of Relais & Châteaux, synonymous with luxury, ageless charm and culinary delight.

This city mansion boasts a delightful ochre façade that hides the most imaginative decor, setting a link between the Orient and the West; a tribute to both De Nerval and Lamartine and a wink to Pierre Loti. It is an invitation to discover a country full of mystery, Lebanon, the crossroad of ancient civilizations.

The Location
The Albergo is at a 5 km drive from Beirut International Airport.

It is located in the heart of old Eastern-Beirut at the crossroads of the main axis. A couple of blocks south, famous Monot Street concentrates the essence of the Lebanese night life. The National Museum and the Sursock Museum for Contemporate Art are a few meters away from Abdel Wahab El Inklizi Street where stands the Albergo.

Cuisine
The Restaurant: The restaurant combines works of art with tables hand-made in Damascus, where our guests can dine in a relaxing and quiet atmosphere with gentle and elegant service. The dining room is like a “Salon Particulier” where each table is a unique piece of art, adorned with the finest appointments. Our exquisite meals can be enjoyed in the dining room or on the Terrace.

The menu, an original creation of Chef Nicola Offredi, a disciple of Sergio Mei, will be appreciated by the most discerning gourmet. Inspired by international cuisine, the Lombardian chef complements his menu with fresh pasta and the traditional risotto.

The highlight offering is the fresh, world renowned Persian Beluga caviar. For the grand finale to this royal meal, the chef suggests the unexpected and delicate mix of Cherry “Compote” perfumed with Balsamic Vinegar or a serving of the universal favorite “Tiramisu”.

The Al Dente Restaurant: Since its opening in 1992, Al Dente has become a leading restaurant in Beirut and, most certainly, one of the most famous in the downtown area. It features our 5-star Italian Chef who has created some of the most exciting dishes and desserts influenced by both Italian and Mediterranean cuisine.

Delicate combinations and subtle contrasts are in abundance throughout the menu. This diversity is one of the greatest assets of this highly ‘gastronomic’ restaurant. Enjoy superb Italian food in elegant surroundings, ideal for lunch or dinner, with a selective wine list of Italian and French “Grands Crus”.
