High above the Kadisha Valley and the red roofed village of Bcharreh are the ancient cedars of Lebanon. They were highly prized in ancient times for their use in the construction of great palaces and religious buildings. Nowadays, the Cedars tree, majestic and indestructible, is the emblem of Lebanon and adorns its flag.
